visited on a cold wintery day, lovely coffee and amazing spiced apple and toffee cake, served hot with cream! Very friendly guy in there, made us welcome. Definitely a repeat visit when we're in town.

Delightful cafe in Matlock Bath , with super Hosts Peter Jack ,and Ellen Holdway . Great selection of cakes and menu of savouries , Cakes by Maria ( Amazing & homemade ) Coffee by Ephie ( Sausage Barrister ) Friendly staff and great atmosphere, ideal Stop in any weather . Dog friendly too

Light, clean, friendly, lovely food, good portions, reasonable prices. What else can you ask for? Art on the walls, home-made everything, local meat, chatty owners and staff. I think we'll be back.

Lovely little coffee shop. Highly recommend the lemon drizzle cake. Coffee nice and hot. Good indoor seating area.

Genuinely great wee coffee shop, with excellent sweets and cake options. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and polite. Service was fast. You don't feel like you are being rushed to leave, and they have some outdoor seating too. Kid friendly and dog friendly too. It feels like they are genuinely part of the community rather than just providing a service and trying to get through as many customers as possible. If you're coming to Matlock Bath its definitely worth stopping in here.

We love coming here, recently brought my nan for a trip out in her wheelchair... It was lovely as always, we love the cheese scones, the kids loved the milkshakes as did I and the Biscoffe croissants were amazing !!! Staff were so polite, friendly and welcoming as always.

Came in just for a takeaway coffee, unfortunately we were too full for a cake the first day but they looked so amazing we came back the next day especially! Honestly some of the best cakes we've ever had. They had a vegan and gluten free options which was amazing for my dairy free son. Friendly staff and a lovely setting. We'll be back x

Popped in here at the end of the day for a takeaway coffee but was drawn in by the apple cake (which was delicious!). Ordered hot milk for my daughter and given a flake and pot of marshmallows to go, as well as biscuits with both drinks. Had no idea they were literally closing as service could not have been more friendly. Felt I must leave a review as although we were only in there for a few minutes it left a great impression and the decaf coffee is also superb! Even my 11 year old daughter commented on how nice the staff were.
